Grenache 再次成為熱門葡萄品種。它所釀造的葡萄酒帶偏淺的紅寶石色，香氣芬芳，風格優雅，富鮮果氣息及結構，與Pinot Noir紅酒有點相似。其實有很多世界上最老的Grenache葡萄藤都在南澳洲，所以該產區釀造不少最頂級的Grenache或Grenache混釀。
